Photography is my passion! I will never forget my first little pink camera and the hours I spent capturing my childhood. Over the years my gear has certainly changed and my passion has grown. New Years Eve 2010 I was encouraged to follow my dream and buy my very first DSLR camera. In April 2013 my daughter was born which lead me to discover my photographic niche in all stages of baby, from maternity through to the first birthday. I am now the top creative newborn photographer for Perth and surrounding area. With the addition of my son, Jack, in January 2017 I now have a new model for all my creative ideas and concepts!
Both my children are rainbow babies. A rainbow baby is a baby born after a pregnancy loss or infant loss. For this reason I always feel very excited and honoured every time I am asked to photograph a family's rainbow of hope. In 2018 I had the honour of having 4 of my images published in a special Rainbow Babies edition of a photography magazine.
My professional studio is located in beautiful Perth, Ontario. In the historic Brown Shoe Factory building. Just a short scenic 1 hour drive east of Kingston and west of Ottawa. I offer both in studio and on location photography. Perth and its surrounding areas have a lot of fantastic opportunities for beautiful images.
I have had the honour of capturing images for clients from Gatineau to The Greater Toronto Area, with even some clients as far as Alberta.
I am now a multi-award winning and multiple times published photographer, with a reputation for creative maternity, newborn and cake smash photography. I have been honoured to participate in workshops with industry leaders such as Kath V Photography of Australia, Appleseed Photography of British Columbia and Oh So Saavy Photography. As well as many online workshops.
"...I am sitting here looking at these pictures and I can't get over them. They look like something from a magazine. It's amazing to know it's my daughter in them. I don't know if you realize what you do for people as a photographer. It's truly a special gift you have..."
